ABOUT THE ROLE
The points below highlight the Senior Finance Manager
- Commercial duties: Manages and executes commercial finance by developing appropriate metrics to measure growth to improve profitability, control expenses and enhance productivity
Lead the revenue assurance process with a focus on CPI and annual price increases, scope compliance review and billing review to ensure compliance with contract
Acts as liaison between GEODIS leadership and customers by interpreting financial data and providing financial guidance on necessary operational changes and/or enhancements
Identifies risks and opportunities in the business, and partners with the business operations leadership team to address What will set you apart as GEODIAN?
Possess the drive to urgently attack responsibilities and proactively fill knowledge gaps
Own the success of the project, the team and yourself
Communicate frequently and articulately to all stakeholders What projects will you work on in this role? Provide financial support to key executives, while working directly with customers and Operations leadership
Have ownership of developing and evolving new process and visibility to senior executive leadership
Contribute to growth within the core business portfolio by leading the Revenue Assurance Process
Manage strategic pricing and modeling activities for new customers via the Minor Deal process
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited four year college or university required; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum 6 years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Financial modeling experience required
PC proficiency to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; highly proficient in Excel.
