Job:
The Treasury Manager manages the day-to-day activities of the treasury function to meet the financial obligations of the Company. This includes forecasting cash, maintaining banking relationships, overseeing cash management operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and lender requirements while collaborating with various departments to align financial strategies with the Company’s objectives. This position reports to the Company’s CFO. This role is expected to be onsite at the Company’s headquarters in Franklin, TN.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain policies governing all cash management activities. Maintain accurate cash flow projections, including the ability to summarize and present the projections to management. Initiate cash transfers via wire. Collaborate with accounts payable to optimize the use of ACH versus checks and wires. Manage the day-to-day relationships with banking partners, including opening and closing of accounts, overseeing the update of signature cards, requesting and implementing new services, and issuing letters of credit. Manage the corporate credit card program. Manage the users and their entitlements on all on-line banking portals. Ensure banking exceptions (positive pay, ACH, etc.) are handled daily. Identify risks and inefficiencies with respect to treasury operations and developing and executing strategies to mitigate those risks and inefficiencies. Support strategic initiatives as needed, such as rating agency presentations and integration of acquired facilities. Provide assistance to the CFO with administration and compliance with all credit agreements. Provide assistance to the CFO with maintaining lender relationships and investor relations. Assist with routine reporting processes to stakeholders.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics from an accredited college or university. MBA, CFA, CTP and/or CPA is a plus. 5+ years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of US banking, credit card products and services, corporate treasury functions and related accounting, cash management, accounts payable and reporting activities. Ability to handle financial reporting in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Proven track record of managing banking relationships. Proficiency with various cash management tools. Ability to apply professional skepticism when responding to requests in order to prevent and deter fraud and to ensure supporting documentation is in place for all transactions. High degree of self-motivation, ownership, organization and attention to detail. Ability to work through issues independently and as part of a team. Ability to multi-task. Why Summit Healthcare Mgmt?
