This will include maintaining and managing monthly closing, financial reporting, conducting internal audits in compliance with K-SOX, and any related journal entries. We are looking for a talented financial accountant who is detail-oriented, proactive, and sets a high bar for his work product. Candidate must be reliable and familiar with accounting.
Scope of Work :
Ensure all financial records and statements are accurate and in accordance with the existing regulatory frameworks and up to date. Resolve any discrepancies he or she finds in records, statements, or documented transactions.
Responsibilities :
Gather and monitor financial data. Review and analysis of travel expense. Review and analyze general and administrative expense. Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Assist with payroll & benefits allocations and journal entries. Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
Position Requirement:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field. Bilingual in Korean or multi-lingual associate is preferred.
Related Experience:
0-1 year experience in an applicable field is desired but not required.
Skills/Knowledge:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). SAP.
