Position Summary:

As an Auto Finance Titles Specialist, you’ll be responsible for processing, tracking, and managing vehicle title documents for financed vehicles across multiple states. This includes accurate title recording, lien placements, and timely document handling — all critical to ensuring compliance and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive repossessed vehicle titles from tag offices and coordinate title submission to appropriate auctions. Prepare check requests for tag office payments. Run the Repossession Log daily to initiate title requests. Ensure accurate lien placements and releases upon loan payoff. Maintain both paper and electronic title inventories. Update and manage the daily Repo Report at Auction. Review title statuses, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively. Record and maintain key data in systems: Vehicle Condition Reports, floor amounts, bids, repairs, and sale figures. Support the Loss Mitigation Department with title-related needs. Keep accurate records using title management systems and document management software. Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, and internal teams via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams. Track and verify dealership title submissions. Ensure full compliance with federal and state title laws, including ELT handling. Assist in title audits and report reconciliation. Facilitate repossession or remarketing activities by securing original or duplicate titles. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Bring to the

Role:
