The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of functions critical to the efficient operation of our investment services. This role requires a Series 7 License. Job tasks include processing trade requests, onboarding administrative tasks associated with incoming transfers, maintaining complaint files, handling incoming client calls, processing account maintenance requests. This position requires a strong understanding of the financial market, investment management and the ability to function collaboratively on our team. Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and identify trends. Assist in corporate accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations. Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring optimal liquidity for operations. Support investment management activities by analyzing portfolio performance. Maintain compliance with securities law and regulatory reporting requirements. Utilize financial software to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy. Implement fraud prevention detection measures to safeguard company assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills File and Log Correspondence:

Accurately file and log all relevant correspondence and forms to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Handle Incoming Calls:

Answer client requests for current account information and direct calls to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Process Account Maintenance Requests:

Efficiently handle and process various account maintenance requests to ensure client needs are met promptly and accurately. This includes investment trade request and portfolio rebalancing.

Compliance and Licensing:

Must hold Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of investment management principles and cash management strategies. Familiarity with regulatory reporting practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is recommended that the Investment Operations Associate have the following qualifications:

Required:

Series 6 and Series 63 or Series 7 and Series 63 One to three years of securities industry experience preferred. Degree in finance preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with others Above average math and data entry skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to adapt to change and identify process improvements Strong references provided upon request If you are passionate about operations and finance, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our team’s success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
