About the Role As Controller, you will lead the organization’s accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the corporate finance team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Approving and monitoring accounts payable/receivable; reviewing timely monthly reports. Reviewing journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards. Preparing and distributing required financial statements and reports. Coordinating payroll processing and ensuring labor/tax compliance. Maintaining updated tax records and overseeing compliance with regulatory bodies. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to headquarters. Coordinating with external auditors, supporting annual reviews and audit processes. Maintaining accurate financial documentation and internal controls. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Performing additional finance and administrative duties as needed Your Qualifications We are looking for a highly organized and collaborative professional with the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum five years of relevant, progressive senior-level experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of local accounting standards. Proven experience with payroll, AP/AR, financial reporting, and compliance. Strong analytical skills and expertise in budgeting and forecasting. Proven leadership experience capable of managing a diverse financial team and multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. High proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is preferred but not required. IFRS knowledge is desirable but not required. Bilingual

  • Fluent communication skills in both English and Spanish

Work EnvironmentAdditional Requirements Background and credit checks are required prior to employment. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities may shift. This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.
