Gary Yeomans Honda in Daytona Beach is seeking a dedicated and professional Bankruptcy & Special Finance Sales Specialist to manage and close a high volume of inbound bankruptcy (BK) leads. You will be the crucial first point of contact for customers who are looking to rebuild their credit and regain their independence after a major financial challenge. We provide the leads, the lenders, and the supportive team environment. We need you to provide the passion, persistence, and specialized skill set to turn these opportunities into success stories for both the customer and the dealership.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Lead Management:
Proactively manage a steady stream of inbound leads from customers who have recently filed for or been discharged from bankruptcy.
Empathetic Consultation:
Conduct respectful, confidential, and in-depth consultations to understand each customer’s unique financial situation, vehicle needs, and their stage in the bankruptcy process.
Building Trust:
Serve as a knowledgeable and reassuring guide, building immediate rapport and trust with individuals in a sensitive situation.
Deal Structuring:
Work directly with our network of specialized subprime lenders to structure and submit loan applications, navigating stipulations and advocating for your customer.
Clear Communication:
Clearly present vehicle and financing options, transparently explaining the terms and the long-term benefits of re-establishing credit with an auto loan.
Documentation & Compliance:
Meticulously collect and verify all necessary customer documentation and ensure all deals adhere to federal, state, and lender regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Liaise effectively with the sales desk and F&I department to ensure a seamless and efficient process from initial contact to vehicle delivery. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
Required:
An exceptional level of empathy, patience, and professionalism. You must be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people overcome challenges. Tenacious and resilient attitude with a drive to work complex deals through to completion. Outstanding listening and communication skills; you must be able to make complex financing terms easy to understand. Highly organized with the ability to manage a large pipeline of clients effectively. A valid U.S. Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Preferred (But Not Required): Minimum of 2+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record of success in a subprime or special finance role. Deep knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Established relationships with local and national subprime auto lenders. Proficiency in automotive CRM software (e.g., VinSolutions, eLead). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.
