Job Description

Job Responsibilities Lead the standardization of financial processes (GL, Fixed Assets, Revenue, Costing, Consolidation) across global business units while ensuring local compliance. Evaluate and optimize end-to-end financial workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Establish KPIs and benchmarks for process effectiveness and financial reporting performance. Drive ERP (Oracle) implementation and upgrades, ensuring alignment with finance process requirements. Collaborate with IT and business users to translate functional finance needs into ERP system capabilities. Develop and maintain documentation for ERP financial modules and business processes. Ensure global financial operations comply with

IFRS, US

GAAP, SOX, and local tax regulations. Establish control frameworks to monitor compliance and mitigate financial risk. Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to continuously assess and improve controls. Engage with CFOs, controllers, and regional finance leads to align on process improvement goals. Lead cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, communicate changes, and ensure adoption. Act as a liaison between finance and IT to ensure technical solutions meet business expectations. Define and implement standards for financial data accuracy, consolidation, and reporting. Support financial close processes by ensuring timely and reliable data consolidation. Oversee integration of data sources into centralized reporting platforms. Develop governance models to manage changes to financial processes and systems. Champion a culture of continuous improvement in financial operations. Manage change initiatives related to process transformation and system upgrades. Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding. Resolve complex business and system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ Years of experience in Accounting and Finance Discipline in a Manufacturing Organization. Professional certifications such as

CPA, CFA, CMA

are highly valued. ERP-related certifications in Oracle, or other ERP platforms are a plus. Management experience in a manufacturing, distribution / operations environment or equivalent required. Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred Experience in ERP/accounting system implementation required Advanced Excel and database modeling experience required (PowerQuery) Excellent oral and written communication skills Willing to work as a member of a team Experience in systems analysis, design, implementation, and data modeling Ability to effectively work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive materials and information Up to 10% domestic travel Koppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
