Senior Financial Officer Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Senior Financial Controller is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting functions within 404 Concrete operations. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager, Plant Controller, and our Share Business Service group to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the transactional accounting information within the established deadlines. Primary duties for this role will include oversite and adherence to the appropriate controls over the transactional accounting systems, management of the financial closing processes, including the intracompany consolidation processes, preparation of applicable managerial and financial reporting, and support/management of the various financial and non-financial processes.

Account Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements, subsidiary ledgers, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

Month-End and Year-End Close:

Assist with the monthly and annual closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Audits and Taxes:

Assist with internal and external audits, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Variance Analysis:

Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

Supervision and Training:

Supervise and train accounting staff, providing guidance and support.

Process Improvement:

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
