Description of Work This position is 100% federally funded.
Recruitment Range:
$67,000 – $83,616. The Office of Rural Health (ORH) has two primary functions. First, the ORH engages local and state leaders in designing and implementing strategies for improving the health of rural and underserved communities. In this role, the ORH assists communities and populations with developing innovative strategies for access to high quality and cost-effective health care to meet the health needs of all residents. The Office also fosters state and local partnerships with ownership vested in communities, providing in-depth technical assistance on an on-going basis, assuring clear and measurable accountability, and seeking to improve health. Second, in cooperation with DHHS divisions and community partners, the ORH assists the Secretary in designing and testing innovative and communitybased approaches for meeting DHHS developmental priorities. The North Carolina Farmworker Health Program works to advance the health and well-being of agricultural workers and their families by providing guidance, leveraging resources, and facilitating shared learning with a statewide network of partners. Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the operation of the North Carolina Farmworker Health Program through budget management and contract monitoring. Under the guidance of the NC Farmworker Health Program Manager, this position will track program expenses, provide financial monitoring for contractual agreements, assist with processing payments, help ensure compliance with financial requirements and procurement processes and develop budget reports , It is expected that this position will work within the team to ensure that other Program activities are accomplished including but not limited to grant writing and reporting, supporting training events and webinars, and compliance with federal and state requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor s degree in sociology, psychology, political science, business administration, or related field, from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in social work, public administration, or a field directly related to the specific program assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
