We have a culture that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit We offer multiple opportunities for development and upward mobility In the Loan Officer role, you will perform all aspects of the loan process for the assigned relationship-based book of business including assessing the financial health of the borrower, calculating potential risk, and minimizing risk. Build solid relationships, both internal and external, and create successful partnerships while providing excellent customer service. What you’ll Do Team Management & Leadership Manage individual production team. Train, develop, and motivate team. Resolve talent related issues and challenges. Understand the recruiting and hiring process. Lead by example and enforce Wintrust core values. Operations Strong understanding of Policies and Procedures. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including service level agreements. Perform daily operations as pertains to book of business. Clearly report on loans as needed. Attain performance and financial goals. Administrative System Champion a strong understanding of the workflow of the administrative systems. Ensure accuracy and integrity of internal administrative systems. Relationships Collaborate with other departments to build solid relationships, ensure transparent feedback, and develop successful partnerships both internally and externally. Deescalate and resolve customer service-related issues. Provide “best in class” service and act as point of contact. Ensure and own client satisfaction and actively work on solutions and improvements to better business. Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience 5-7 years experience Bachelors degree preferred Advanced understanding of the entire loan renewal process Prior leadership experience a plus Concise and clear communicator, written and verbal Time management and ability to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Benefits Medical Insurance
