Job Summary:

BNY is seeking a Budget Manager (Support Role) to assist in the integration of the Investment Marketing team into the broader Wealth Marketing organization. This role will focus on financial consolidation, budget tracking, vendor oversight, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating financial systems and reporting tools in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Out team operations are based out of offices in New York City and Boston, MA. Offering the opportunity to collaborate across finance, procurement, and marketing operations while helping ensure strategic alignment and financial accuracy during a key organizational transition.

Budget Integration & Tracking:

Assist with consolidating the Investment Marketing financials into the broader Wealth Marketing budget structure. Reconcile year-to-date (YTD) 2025 financials for the Investment Marketing team. Forecast anticipated year-end 2025 spend, including both committed and uncommitted funds. Maintain and regularly update budget trackers to reflect organizational changes and real-time data.

Reporting & Analysis:

Identify and report on variances, risks, and opportunities in spend across investment marketing initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Marketing Communications teams to ensure accurate, transparent reporting. Prepare budget summaries and data visualizations for leadership and stakeholder updates.

Vendor & Contract Oversight:

Support onboarding and lifecycle tracking of vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Purchase Orders (POs). Liaise with the Enterprise Sourcing Office (ESO) and Procurement to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Ensure timely invoice tracking and reconciliation within Oracle and related platforms.

Operational Support:

Navigate shared drives, invoice processing systems, and collaborative workflow tools such as Airtable and Workfront. Assist with aligning budget processes to ongoing structural and strategic updates within the marketing organization. Support ad hoc financial tasks and special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in financial operations, budget tracking, or vendor management Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP, conditional formatting) Familiarity with financial systems and shared drives for budget tracking and invoice reconciliation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple budget lines and vendor contracts simultaneously Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred:

Experience working in Oracle Cloud or similar enterprise financial systems Familiarity with Airtable, Workfront, or similar project management tools Prior experience supporting a marketing, procurement, or finance team Understanding of contract administration and vendor compliance requirements
