Full Job Description About Us:

We are a busy and growing NYC-based law firm focused on real estate, property tax, and financial matters. Our practice blends legal strategy with in-depth data and financial analysis. We are seeking a highly analytical, Excel-savvy professional to support our legal and finance teams through advanced spreadsheet work, modeling, and data organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for financial, tax, and real estate models
  • Analyze property and tax assessment data, identify trends, and prepare presentations or reports
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation that involves numerical analysis or financial comparisons
  • Automate recurring tasks using formulas, macros, pivot tables, or VBA (if capable)
  • Extract, clean, and structure large datasets from public or internal sources
  • Collaborate with attorneys to create efficient, accurate tools for client reporting and case analysis
Required Qualifications:
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, lookup functions, logic formulas, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Experience with financial analysis, modeling, or data visualization
  • Ability to understand legal, financial, or real estate documents and translate them into data frameworks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment
Preferred:
  • Legal industry or real estate industry experience
  • Familiarity with property tax, litigation support, or data compliance
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or Google Sheets scripting is a plus
Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, includes salary + benefits + growth potential

$48,500.00
