Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team in Liverpool, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data related to vending operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and collaborating across departments to drive efficiency. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to apply financial expertise within the vending industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive financial audits and analyze vending machine operations, focusing on revenue, profitability, and cost structures.
- Serve as a key contact between the finance team and internal stakeholders to gather data and deliver actionable financial insights.
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, sales, and IT to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Input and manage financial information using accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance data workflows and optimize accuracy.
- Provide detailed evaluations of financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and tools to improve financial analysis capabilities. Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools.
- Familiarity with financial services platforms such as ADP.
- Experience with CRM systems and Crystal Reports.
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and their application in financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accrual accounting and auditing.
- Ability to manage budget processes and evaluate capital management strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication abilities to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
