As Stewardship Specialist, you’ll help nurture relationships with our generous donors, support fundraising initiatives, and be the go-to resource for all things related to charitable giving and communications. Your work will have a direct and lasting impact on our ability to serve and enhance the lives of those in our care.

A Typical Day:

Manage inquiry requests related to both charitable giving and communications.
Maintain files, Annual Appeal, Generous Spirit events, community events, purchases, contracts, check request/payment forms, Annuities, etc.
Responsible for database management.
Process Purchase Orders, check requests, and AP forms as needed.
Prepare necessary charitable giving financial documents.
Follow the check/donation processing procedure for all charitable gifts (Chapel, Appeals, Mem/Hon etc.)
Enter all monies and checks donations into Virtuous Donor Software.
Encourage and collect volunteer data, as well as other generous spirit hours.
Track and value in-kind donations.
Work with the Vice President of Charitable Giving and Communications and the President/CEO to schedule donor meetings, follow-up needs, and additional opportunities to grow donor development. Requirements

What We Need In A Candidate:

Associates required, Bachelor preferred.
Minimum of one to two year’s related experience, within a nonprofit environment preferred.
Previous data analytics experience, preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience with daily computer systems input, specifically in Microsoft Office systems with concentration on Word and Excel, including mail merges and letters.
General knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
