This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial reporting and a passion for accuracy and compliance. The position offers the opportunity to work with dynamic systems and contribute to the success of a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage monthly financial reporting packages to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Oversee compliance with industry-specific reporting standards, particularly in the energy sector. Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite or Oracle to streamline reporting processes. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure financial integrity. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Monitor budgetary processes and provide recommendations for optimization. Manage accounts payable operations to ensure timely and accurate transactions. Implement and maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to enhance efficiency. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all financial operations. A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting or related roles. Proficiency in accounting software systems, including NetSuite or Oracle. Familiarity with industry-specific reporting standards, particularly in the energy sector. Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and their implementation. Strong understanding of auditing practices and balance sheet reconciliation. Experience managing accounts payable and overseeing budgeting processes. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide actionable financial insights. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
