Overview
We are a leading company in the building construction supplies industry, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Partner to join our team. will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making by analysing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
This position requires individuals with strong analytical skills, an understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work with financial tools such as Hyperion Consolidation & Planning, Essbase to support business strategies. Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, the individual will collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate with financial leadership to gather requirements for finance analytics and providing insights and recommendations.
Support IT budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance and highlight areas for improvement.
Collaborate with business units to understand financial objectives and provide analytical support.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Collaborate with the enterprise IT team to improve data accuracy and accessibility.
Build financial models from Snowflake to enable meaningful analysis.
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present insights in a clear and concise manner.
Work closely with IT and Finance to improve finance-related data structures and reporting tools.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a bridge between IT, and Finance to align financial analysis with strategic objectives.
Partner with different teams to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements.
Support the automation of financial reporting and data processing through scripting, and analytics tools.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of Data and Analytics and other senior stakeholders.
Present complex financial models in an understandable and actionable format to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in a FP&A, Financial analysis or Business Analysis role.
Experience working with financial data, reporting tools, and business intelligence software.
Experience working in data-driven environments and collaborating with analytics teams.
Technical Skills:
Experience with SQL, or other data analytics languages is a plus.
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Understanding of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, Oracle and J&E) and financial data structures.
Strong experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion)

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
