Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri, on a contract basis. This position requires a results-driven individual who can manage and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting standards, coupled with expertise in tools like Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage and maintain balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the controller to refine financial reporting and modeling processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial reporting workflows.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance.
- Provide actionable insights to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the creation and execution of annual budgets and financial plans. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Ability to effectively manage balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
