Financial Reporting Manager Position Available In Platte, Missouri

Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri, on a contract basis. This position requires a results-driven individual who can manage and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting standards, coupled with expertise in tools like Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage and maintain balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with the controller to refine financial reporting and modeling processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial reporting workflows.
• Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance.
• Provide actionable insights to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the creation and execution of annual budgets and financial plans. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Ability to effectively manage balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
