Job Description

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the healthcare industry for a Director of Financial Reporting based in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves overseeing financial and internal and external reporting, technical accounting, month-end close activities, and other tasks related to financial statements. The role also includes a leadership aspect, as you will be responsible for guiding staff and fostering their detail-oriented development.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of financial reports and statements
  • Handle both internal and external reporting, ensuring all data is precise and up-to-date
  • Supervise month-end close activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the team
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to staff
  • Participate in ad hoc tasks as required, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions, providing real-time solutions to problems
  • Uphold a strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations, applying these standards to all work
  • Utilize accounting software systems, such as Workday ERP, to manage and track financial data
  • Manage the balance sheet account and budget processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements
  • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
  • Deep understanding of Accounting Functions necessary
  • Experience in Auditing is essential
  • Familiarity with Balance Sheet Account is required
  • Knowledge of Budget Processes is crucial
  • Proficiency in Workday ERP is needed
  • Previous experience in Big 4 Accounting Firm is desirable
  • Expertise in SEC Reporting is a necessity
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting is key
