Corporate Banking Underwriter Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Our Client, a large Florida based Financial Institution, is looking to hire a Senior C&I Middle-Market Credit Underwriter to work in their Corporate Banking Team located in Miami, Florida We are looking for a team player, self-motivated, banking professional with corporate banking experience: Worked with credit lines in excess of $30mm per credit facility Experience presenting new transactions for approval to the Credit Committee or other appropriate lending authority Working with credit analysts to underwrite new deals and performing annual reviews for all business relationships under management Manage risk by determining credit worthiness of loan applicants Analyzing a range of financial data, including balance sheets, income/cash flow statements Responsible in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis reports of credit requests for commercial and industrial loans Analyze short-term account receivable finance transactions Provide renewal, annual reviews, extensions and modifications for existing C&I transactions Review and perform underwriting for new transactions, as well as renewals and annual reviews for C&I deals Conducting complex credit investigations, risk and analyzing diverse credit information for loans Analyzing/underwriting documentation of loan requests. Assisting in the preparation of credit reports for presentation to senior lending officers and/or approval committees Performing research/analysis related to projects such as industry studies and management reports.

Requirements:

Bilingual:

English / Spanish Experience reviewing financial projections, risk mitigation, financial statements, financial models, lender presentations/decks, diligence reports, appraisal reports, and other related loan information and supporting documentation. Experience supervising junior Credit Analysts and providing ongoing mentorship and performance oversight. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field preferred. Ability to be a team player, communicate, and collaborate with the Banking Officers Superior Customer Service managing Banking relationships 7+ years’ experience in a similar job •This role can be performed on a hybrid schedule: (two days work-from-home)
