Job Summary:
The Deposit Relationship Manager role will focus on growing core deposit across the full spectrum of deposit products. This is a business development opportunity.
The Deposit Relationship Manager will be responsible for soliciting, managing, maintaining, and growing a deposit portfolio, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities to increase the overall market share.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the banking industry, with a strong emphasis on deposit growth. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of banking products, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and has a formidable network of COIs.
Critical Keys to
Success:
Documented track record for deposit growth averaging $2MM or more in individual deposit growth each year.
Active COI network.
Ability to engage in the community and build strong relationships.
Strong personal motivation to independently development and maintain relationships.
A thorough understanding of bank deposit products and how each affects the overall balance sheet and income statement.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to effectively work outside of the office environment and grow a book of business.
