5 3.5 out of 5 stars 2675 O’neal Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 The role of the Video Member Service Representative is to perform a wide range of duties to serve members via a remote video platform. This could be through a kiosk in a branch, a mobile application, or through a home computer. Acting as a one-stop information source, the Video Member Service Representative’s primary focus is to take all loan applications and process and close them independently and accurately. They may open new accounts and cross-sell all products and services. The Video Member Service Representative is responsible for keeping accurate records of all interactions as outlined in policies/procedures.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VIDEO MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE INCLUDES

Assist members by evaluating their needs and recommending loan options. Take and enter loan applications while working via video channels with a member. Close and disburse all consumer loan types. Promote and cross-sell Pelican State CU products and services to members to fit their financial needs. Consistently meet any required sales goals as established by management. Actively work individual queues to ensure follow-up with members is completed in a timely manner.

VIDEO MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

A high school education or GED. 2 years of experience including lending, teller, and/or call center experience with a financial institution. Must have a strong background in a sales environment. Prior experience in a video/remote environment within a financial institution is a plus. Must be eligible to be licensed to sell all necessary insurance products. Excellent oral, written, telephone, and video communication skills with the ability to communicate courteously, effectively, and professionally. Ability to multi-task and perform work with a high level of accuracy. Ability to read credit reports and enthusiastically cross-sell products and services. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret financial data, and to perform minor math calculations. Strong knowledge of MS Office products with the ability to operate standard office equipment such as a copier and calculator.

Work Schedule Monday

  • Friday 8:30 am
  • 5:30 pm May be required to work rotational Saturday shifts from 8:30 am
  • 1:30 pm Travel Travel is rarely necessary for this position.

Work Site Location All work will be performed at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, LA.
