Member Service Representative Position Available In St. Charles, Louisiana

Member Service Representative Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union Luling, LA 70070 Jefferson Financial FCU is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative for our Luling location. This position performs a broad variety of member services such as opening new checking, savings, certificate and IRA accounts. Handles transactions and answers questions concerning products and services offered by the credit union from members and branch staff. Duties/Responsibilities

• Greets all members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner.
• Perform basic teller transactions when called upon to do so.
• Open new accounts, cross-sell products and services, explain options and prepare all paperwork and assist the member in the signing of all necessary documents.
• Enroll, update and cancel payroll deductions and direct deposits at member’s request, and complete the necessary documentation to support the changes.
• Assist members in resolving account disputes by researching necessary reports, statements and check copies.
• Assist collection department in recovery efforts.
• Assist in the maintenance of the security and safety of the branch office.
• Open and close branch in the absence of the branch manager.
• Provides service and assistance to members on budget counseling, consolidations, loan extensions, payment methods and other areas relating to members’ financial needs.
• Maintains ongoing communication with branch manager, informing of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes and other important information within area of responsibility.

Pay:

Starting at $17.04/hour. Experience level could increase starting pay.
