Summary:
The Financial ServicesRepresentative serves as the bank’s front-line customer serviceassociate and is responsible for creating a welcoming environmentand good impression for our customers. Key job functions includeaccount and service origination, handling teller transactions, aswell as responding to customer inquiries by telephone and inperson.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves customersin opening new accounts for commercial and consumer clients. Haveknowledge of bank products in order to make recommendations onproducts and services based on customer needs. Contact new clientsfor onboarding activities. Assist in consumer loan applications andclosings in applicable markets.
- Performs all teller dutiesincluding all client transactions, maintaining and balancing a cashdrawer. Have knowledge of the ATM, Vault, Coin & Cash and GLAccounts to be balanced daily. Have knowledge of all dual controlprocedures.
- Serves as a team member to accomplish companyobjectives and lobby and personal goals.
- Provides outstandingcustomer service for lobby and phone requests.
Research and resolveclient problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bankdepartments. Follow up with the client to assure resolution.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Actively participates in training programs to maintain and acquireadditional job knowledge and skills
- Assists in opening andclosing the branch, following procedures set by corporate security
- Complies with all department and company policies, procedures,audit guidelines, and regulations.
- Perform other miscellaneousduties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong math and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer serviceskills with the ability to cross-sale products and services.
- Mustmaintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records.
- Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well withothers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Abilityto operate standard office equipment, such as computerworkstations, calculators, and copier.
- Ability to prioritize;handle multiple tasks; and work independently.
- Strongorganizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree ofaccuracy.
- Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, andservices offered at the bank.
- Knowledge of banking laws andregulations including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Spanishpreferred Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None Education and/or
Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates degreein business related field or two years related experience or acombination of education and experience
- Experience working in anenvironment with individual and team goals preferred
- Customerservice experience required
Computer and Software Skills:
- Skilledin operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Word andExcel.
- Google Suite
- IBS•
Salesforce Certificates, Licenses,and Registrations:
- Notary License as needed by the branch
