PORTFOLIO MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Portfolio Manager CRE and C & I
We are seeking a driven and experienced Banking Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. As a portfolio manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on their portfolios and addressing their financial needs.
This role will effectively turn into a Commercial Lender in training
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and finance, with experience in portfolio management. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Manage a portfolio of banking clients, ensuring their satisfaction and profitability
Provide expert advice on financial strategies and investment opportunities to clients
Conduct regular portfolio reviews and analysis to assess performance and make recommendations for adjustments
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact client portfolios
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor
Monitor and manage risk within client portfolios
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management within the banking industry
Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and investment strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
