Director, Real Estate Strategy Business Relationship Manager 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC Real Estate Strategy Business Relationship Manager This Real Estate Strategy Business Relationship Manager role is the single point of contact with internal business partners and senior leaders/executives, responsible for understanding and influencing assigned business unit plans and strategies. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for assigned lines of business throughout entire process from definition of needs, development of strategy, space planning, leasing, design, construction, moves and change management to ensure seamless delivery. Responsible for understanding business and functional staff strategies and for ensuring financial results are aligned with business parameters and with the overall strategic direction of the enterprise. The position sits within the Global Strategy team of Global Corporate Services (GCS) to align execution of real estate tactics with corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities and Duties Interact with executive level line of business decision-makers to understand business strategy with highly positive demeanor and strong communication skills. Proven ability to develop and synthesize real estate portfolio strategies by aligning them with core business strategies to maintain TIAA competitive position in the marketplace. Demonstrates subject matter expertise to quickly generate comparative analysis of business needs against enterprise objectives leading to financial comparisons to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and financial plans. Understands GCS leasing practices and how they enable and constrain lines of business in new and existing markets, in the US and internationally. Creates and applies collaborative GCS and enterprise strategic initiatives and policies including financial analytics of individual transaction (i.e. P&L and NPV impacts of alternative scenario plans). Coaches, reviews and delegates work to outsourced service providers and other members of the GCS team, including transaction management and design and construction professionals. Base Pay Range:

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
