This position is responsible for the origination, execution and maintenance of client relationships in order to generate profitable new business opportunities in the department and the wider company organization. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting, 3-5 years of corporate outside sales experience in finance or banking, the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required . This is a full-time position, hybrid position, plus bonus with excellent benefits including 401k.

• Supervisory experience is a big plus

• Bilingual Japanese/English Relationship Manager/VP Duties:

• Deliver value-added financing solutions to existing and prospective to augment client relationships and obtain transaction mandates
• Effectively manage client relationships to improve results and meet revenue targets. Responsible for a portfolio of client relationships
• Execute against business strategy for the team to up tier client, increase market penetration and maximize profitability
• Complete all aspects of new transactions from origination, credit approval, documentation, and closing with senior member’s support
• Participate in the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio of existing clients proactively, responding to and anticipating any future needs, challenges or risks, and escalating in a timely manner with senior member’s support
• Work with product specialists and subject matter experts across the bank to respond to clients’ unique needs
• Leverage the expertise and capabilities of other company businesses in alignment with the strategy of the Bank
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments
• Collaborate across departments such as sales, marketing and product development to ensure that the client’s needs are being met

Bilingual Japanese/English Relationship Manager/VP Skills:

• Must speak, read, and write Japanese
• Must have 3-5 years of corporate outside sales experience in finance or banking
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
• Maintain a network of client relationships as well as relationships across the company to obtain a detailed understanding of the overall needs of our corporate clients
