Relationship Manager Position Available In New York, New York

China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd seeks a Relationship Manager in New York City, NY Assist senior Relationship Managers in executing and managing the entire credit underwriting process, including perform credit analysis, prepare credit application report, negotiate terms and conditions, communicate with internal/external counterparties, lead the credit approval and loan closing process. Maintain and strengthen the relationships with CMB Head Office and domestic branches. Assist senior Relationship Managers to solicit new business opportunities from Head Office, domestic/other branches, and Chinese corporate clients. Arrange and coordinate business visit to existing client/domestic branch relationships as needed. Proactively manage client’s financing needs and develop cross sell opportunity with other Group/Department, e.g. supply chain financing, L/C issuance, FX business opportunities. Perform periodic credit review, FRR review and loan monitoring for compliance with covenants/regulatory requirements, prepare credit review reports. Collect required information and communicate with clients as necessary to address account or loan maintenance requirements. Conduct on-site/first-hand due diligence of any properties or collateral as necessary. Perform KYC reviews for accounts as needed. Maintenance of existing accounts. Liaison with clients for account service requests including FX, online backing, audit confirmation, daily transactions, deposits etc. Assist clients with new account opening. Communicate and work with Compliance Department to facilitate a smooth KYC process. Explore deposit opportunities from new/existing clients/CMB domestic branches. Follow up and maintain existing deposit accounts. Complete ad-hoc departmental work, including reporting to Head Office as needed, portfolio monitoring, risk analysis, coordination with back office etc. Must possess a Master degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field or foreign equivalent and 6 months of experience in an Analyst or related occupation. Experience must include working in financial analysis; Utilizing Financial Analysis and Modeling Tools including Excel and Tableau; Working under global Corporate Finance and Banking Regulations; and Preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Credit Evaluation.

Salary Range:
