Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00

PM Pay Rate:

$23•$25 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle self-pay accounts from the first day of billing , ensuring timely contact and resolution. Analyze patient accounts and determine appropriate action based on payer guidelines and account status. Contact patients by phone, email, or mail to discuss balances and payment options. Assist patients in understanding their bills, insurance balances, and payment responsibilities. Negotiate payment plans and process payments in accordance with company policies. Document all account activity in the billing system accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex billing issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal financial policies.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing, patient financial services , or healthcare collections with a focus on self-pay accounts . Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, insurance billing, and patient financial services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and billing software systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar). High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field preferred. Pay Details:
