The Sr. Relationship Manager (Commercial Lender) position is asales and customer service position responsible for acquiring andretaining commercial banking relationships. This positioncommunicates and coordinates with other client service andoperational staff and typically reports to senior leadership withintheir market. This position has a high level of responsibility andaccountability and are typically Officers of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
Identify and screen new business opportunitiesfor prospective clients, focusing primarily on commercial lendingopportunities and cross-selling and referring depositrelationships. Provide support to existing commercial and businessbanking clients, often coordinating with client service, treasurymanagement, portfolio management, and operations staff. Act as aprimary point of contact for negotiations and issue resolution forthe clients in your portfolio. Develop, maintain, and analyzevarious reports and financial data for tracking and reporting,developing business banking solutions, resolving issues, andminimizing risk. Increase customer base and impact the Bank’sbottom line through the origination of quality credits with a highpriority on deepening relationships beyond just the commercialfinancing needs. Provide all information required to assist thecredit staff in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of creditsolutions for new and existing clients. Comply with internalsecurity policies and procedures and always maintain customerconfidentiality. Adhere to all regulations, policies, andrecord-keeping requirements. Complete all required training relatedto bank regulations and policies. Accept other responsibilities andprojects as requested Education and Experience Strong salesbackground, C&I Preferred with at least 5 years of commercialbanking and/or commercial credit experience preferred.
