Job Description
This position will work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours - successful candidates will be US based in the New York/New Jersey area, Chicago, Dallas, or Houston.
Verify accuracy of investor level AML/KYC reviews
Lead investment level AML/KYC reviews
Utilize proprietary AML/KYC software to manage investor and investment reviews
Coordinate with both onshore and offshore resources to efficiently complete AML/KYC reviews
Ensure reviews are completed before or by client deadlines
Maintain detailed knowledge of all current reviews
Support clients with multiple Private Equity funds within various industries
Communicate with clients, investors, and client legal counsels via email
Handle daily/routine client information requests and fulfill ad-hoc requests as needed Review proprietary software and internal files to ensure proper record keeping Oversee offshore resources on a day to day basis to ensure standards are met and operating according to client’s process Assess operational effectiveness and make suggestions for process development
Qualifications
Two plus year experience in private equity, AML/KYC, or a combination of experience at an alternative asset investment firm
Analytical skills relating to AML/KYC
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to provide exceptional client service Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment, provide and accept constructive feedback Ability to produce high quantity of work product with accuracy and extreme attention to detail Effective and professional communication, especially written communication Ability to manage multiple demands and competing deadlines Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines Experience in or desire to manage and train offshore resources
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word preferred Additional information
Salary based on experience and location ($70,000
