Job Description
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an AML Analyst in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role is within the financial industry and will involve the use of specific skills in Analytical datasets and Detailed Reports. As an AML Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis, creating detailed reports, and handling sensitive data with utmost precision.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis using various analytical datasets.
- Prepare and present detailed reports based on the analysis conducted.
- Handle sensitive information with utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of customer accounts.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on the analysis and findings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all data and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance in all tasks performed.
- Assist in the processing of customer credit applications as needed.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures for more efficient data analysis and reporting. Requirements
- Must possess a strong understanding and proficiency in Analytical Datasets.
- Should be able to create Detailed Reports with accuracy and precision.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and guidelines.
- Should be able to identify suspicious financial activities and follow up with appropriate actions.
- Must have excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and external agencies.
- Should possess strong problem-solving abilities to resolve AML related issues efficiently.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Should have good decision-making skills to take appropriate actions in accordance with AML policies.
- Must have a strong ethical understanding and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Should have the ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be comfortable working with software and technology related to AML operations.
- Should have a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest AML regulations and practices.
- Must have a degree in finance, business, or a related field. A certification in AML or related area is a plus.
- Prior experience in AML, compliance, or in a similar role would be advantageous.
