Claims Processor 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 1301 International Parkway, Sunrise, FL 33323 This is a full-time, onsite position based in Sunrise, Florida MASA is seeking a new member to join our dynamic Claims team. As our new Claims Processor , you’ll provide collaborative support and process medical claims with attention to detail, compassion, and quality.
Compensation:
$24.00 – 26.00 per hour, plus benefits

Work Hours:

//www.masamts.com What You Will Do Reporting to our Claims Manager, we will count on you to support our claims process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Medical Claims Handling:
Manage personal queue of assigned medical claims Verify coverage and maintain accurate records. Interact with providers to obtain additional required documentation. Set up and scan new claims to be processed.
Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver exceptional support to members, providers, and other departments via phone, email, and chat channels. Demonstrate attention to detail, empathy, and active listening skills.
Product Knowledge:
Serve as a MASA product knowledge expert, including member benefit coverage. Understand insurance regulatory requirements. What We Need From You 2+ years of previous medical claims work experience with an insurance company, third-party administrator, or biller (hospital, physician practice). Experienced with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms from primary insurance companies and Health Insurance Claim Forms (HCFA or 1500 forms). A high school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills. An ability to organize, prioritize, and execute your work in a manner that meets established claim/recovery service standards and benchmarks.
