Title:

Personal Lines Retention Specialist Remote (Florida candidates) About the

Role:

Responsible for overseeing client service and communication, ensuring excellence in every interaction. Duties include managing administrative processes for client insurance policies such as renewals, invoicing, policy reviews, and claims assistance. The role also involves mentoring and training team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
Book of Business Management:

Maintain records, review and bind renewals, remarket, quote, and bind additional lines of business.

Client Protection:

Ensure clients’ assets are protected through comprehensive insurance products and eliminate coverage gaps.

Underwriter Collaboration:

Work with underwriters to find creative solutions for customer needs.

Report Monitoring:

Track expiration, past due renewals, and A/R reports to ensure timely servicing.

Invoicing:

Create and distribute client invoicing for new business, renewals, and premium-bearing endorsements; collect outstanding balances.

Claims Assistance :

Facilitate client claims processes as needed.

Performance Monitoring:

Ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards are met; recommend corrective actions when appropriate.

Supervisor Communication:

Maintain transparent communication with supervisor regarding obstacles and performance expectations; seek and implement performance coaching.

Sales Collaboration:

Work with commercial sales personnel to develop solutions for mutual clients.

Carrier Relationships:

Develop and maintain positive carrier relationships.

Training Support:

Assist with initial/new hire and ongoing training within the team.

Policy Review:

Review all policies, identify discrepancies, and direct necessary changes.

Team Communication:

Maintain frequent, transparent communication with team members regarding client service and policy administration activities.

Professional Development:

Encourage and participate in ongoing growth and professional development of all operations personnel within the team.

Automation System Maintenance:

Maintain agency automation system to ensure accuracy and currency of data. Champion IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

5+ years of personal lines experience managing books of business State required active licensing Exceptional customer service and communication skills Strong multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills High accuracy in handling large work volumes Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) High School diploma (or equivalent)
