DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Creates loss reports in loss notice system, handles claims for towing and arranges rental cars, assesses and assigns claims to proper handler, such as Auto Claims Adjuster, Field Claims Adjuster, Appraiser or Water Mitigation provider. Accesses loss notice index to complete “after hours loss reports” and assign to proper handler. They may be called on to process Unidentified Mail other than that which is Attorney Mail. CRC I’s may be called on to handle any other administrative duties assigned by a team lead, supervisor or manager.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
Assists with projects as required and other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required:
High school diploma. Some college preferred. Prior work in office environment, desired, with call center experience a plus.
Language Skills:
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required. Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required.
Reasoning Skills:
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Must possess basic skills and be proficient or have demonstrated aptitude with computers including experience with Excel, Word, and web-based systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to operate in a normal office environment with occasional travel necessary to visit office locations, conduct investigations, and attend conference/training classes and meetings. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle controls, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, lift and move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements by this job include close vision.
