The role of a claim’s analyst is to review records, analyze cases, speak with family members, and correspond with medical professionals. The ideal candidate will be efficient with their internal and external communications, detail-oriented and driven. Responsibilities Review medical records, billing statements, and other documents to determine if claims are eligible for payment Communicate daily with beneficiaries, agents, medical professionals, and other vendors Maintain organized files for all claims processed Handle inbound phone calls from customers Review claims for accuracy and ensuring that they meet all legal requirements for filing with a state or federal agency Investigate discrepancies in processing claims, such as identifying fraudulent activities or making sure that all documentation is accurate and complete Other duties as assigned Experience Familiarity medical documentation standards. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously. Knowledge of medical terminology Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

$16.00 – $18.50 per hour
