Summary Description Logistics:
This position is part-time position Monday through Friday. Training hours will be 8:00am – 4:30pm reporting onsite to 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29219 for approximately 3 months. After training, hours will be 8:00am-2:00pm. Upon completing training, and meeting departmental standards, there will be an opportunity to work remote.
What You’ll Do:
Research and process claims according to business regulation, internal standards, and processing guidelines. Verifies the coding of procedure and diagnosis codes. Resolve system edits, audits, and claims errors through research and use of approved references and investigative sources. Coordinate with internal departments to work edits and deferrals, updating the patient identification, other health insurance, provider identification and other files as necessary.
