Overview/ Job Description:
MUST RESIDE IN TENNESSEE
The Healthcare Claims Processor will actively support our healthcare client by processing and/or adjusting typical and non-typical healthcare claims and appeals. Perform extensive research to process and/or adjust healthcare claims and appeals.
Use multiple healthcare-related operating systems and tracking tools simultaneously.
Occasionally encounter non-typical healthcare claims
Actively utilize critical thinking skills to determine when to seek advice or escalate issues.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- 1 year of professional work experience with solid tenure in each role
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strongputer proficiency focusing on multiple systems input.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions regarding the decision to pay or deny claims.
- Excellent readingprehension due to the high volume of data required toplete the claims process.
- Data entry skills
- Previous billing experience
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or related field
- 1 year of Medical Claims processing experience
- Knowledge and experience in any workstream of US healthcare
MUST RESIDE IN TENNESSEE
Pay Details:
$18.00 per hour
