Health Insurance Agent Fortified Insurance Group Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team ASAP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clients with insurance solutions that will meet their medical needs. This role requires an understanding of health insurance (experience preferred but not required), excellent communication skills, positive attitude, the ability to take constructive criticism and be coachable, having great work ethic, and the ability to build rapport with clients. As an Insurance Agent, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their insurance options while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Duties Develop a relationship with clients to understand their medical needs, budget, and provide them with a plan that works well for them. Administer sales processes; preparing quotes, explaining benefits, getting over any concerns or doubts, coming to an agreement on price, filling out clients application, taking payment, walking client through docu-sign, and post closing. Keeping a positive attitude on the sales floor. Follow the script outline provided by management. Collaborate with team members on sales strategies and best practices to enhance overall performance. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information. Skills Proven experience in insurance sales or any phone is highly desirable, but training will be offered as well. Strong analytical skills to assess clients medical needs and budget and recommend an appropriate insurance plan. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients, take constructive criticism, follow script outline . At least some knowledge of health insurance. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
