Job Description

Insurance Sales Representative New York Life – Central Florida Saint Cloud, FL We are currently seeking an excellent Insurance Sales Representative who can develop a sales strategy and build and expand buyer relationships to achieve sales goals. You’ll be responsible for seeking out, engaging with, and presenting our solutions to new prospects and current customers. If you have a proven track record of outside selling and are looking for a lucrative outside sales position that provides you with the flexibility, support, and compensation to help you shine, we want to connect!

$65,000+ at plan

Responsibilities:

Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures Move your sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends Use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience Sales experience preferred – go-getter mindset Strong communication skills both written and verbal Desire to help others Strong business acumen Perseverance in the face of a challenge Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts Bilingual Speaking (English/Spanish) A Plus About Company About New York Life New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
