Insurance Verification Specialist | Ridgeland, Mississippi 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 599C Steed Rd, Ridgeland, MS 39157 Insurance Verification Specialist Ridgeland, Mississippi Mid South Rehab Services, Inc. is adding a full-time Insurance Verification Specialist to our TEAM in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The position will coordinate all aspects of Insurance management, verification, and authorizations. Mid South is a therapy company with strategic partnerships in Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and our home state of Mississippi. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapists to a variety of healthcare facilities Principal Job Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate timely completion of health insurance coverage review, insurance authorization, and patient estimation. Assemble and analyze all insurance requests for partner facilities to ensure completeness and accuracy noting any facility requirements. Maintain effective communication with Directors of Rehabilitation, Therapists and Therapist Assistants to ensure outstanding paperwork is received. Maintain confidentiality of patient information, employee information and other confidential information covered by regulations or professional ethics. Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, workshops, in-service meetings, etc. Follows company expectations in regards to HIPAA/Corporate Compliance policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
