They also assist with servicing newly bound policies and cross-sell other essential products customers may need. The Licensed Insurance Agent helps individuals and businesses find the right insurance coverage to meet their needs. Their main responsibilities include assessing client needs, explaining policy options, assisting with applications, and managing policy renewals. They also provide support during claims and ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations. Additionally, they may handle sales and marketing to attract new clients. Where you can make an impact: Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine insurance requirements and evaluate potential risks. Recommend suitable insurance products including, but not limited to, auto, home, life, and health. Provide clear and concise explanations of policy terms, coverage limits, and premium costs. Prepare and submit insurance applications and associated documentation in accordance with established procedures. Manage and facilitate the renewal of client policies as required. Offer support to clients throughout the claims process and maintain ongoing customer service. Remain informed of current insurance products, legislation, and regulatory compliance mandates.

Impact:

Safeguard clients against financial loss through the implementation of appropriate insurance coverage. Establish and nurture strong, enduring client relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Contribute to the expansion of the business and the generation of revenue for the agency or company. Consistently achieve sales targets for insurance policies. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of client information and application processing. Maintain a high rate of client retention and successful policy renewals. Submit regular reports on sales performance and other relevant metrics.

Regular and ongoing activities:

Conduct daily client consultations and interactions. Provide policy quotes and comparative analyses. Complete and process insurance applications. Conduct follow-up activities for leads, renewals, and claims. Adhere to all licensing and regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development and product training.

Your experience:

Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer proficiency (use of CRM software, email, and quoting tools) Knowledge of insurance products and regulations Experience Quoting, selling, servicing Personal Lines Insurance Products Familiarity with many personal lines insurance carriers, products and their underwriting process

Skills:

Strong communication skills (verbal and written, to explain policies clearly) Customer service skills (ability to build trust and maintain relationships) Sales skills (persuasive and goal-oriented, with knowledge of sales techniques) Organizational skills (manage multiple clients, documents, and deadlines) Attention to detail (ensure accuracy in applications and compliance documents) Problem-solving ability (assist clients with claims and policy issues ( Bonus points! ) Previous sales or customer service experience
