Well established insurer seeks an experienced Underwriter tounderwrite environmental risks covering facilities such asManufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Sites, ResearchFacilities, Municipalities, Wastewater Treatment Systems, Farms andAgribusiness, Recycling Centers, Mainstreet Business, TreatmentStorage Facilities; Entertainment Parks, Stadiums and Theaters;Large Scale Habitational Real Estate – Apartments, Hotels andCondominiums; Oil & Gas Transmission, Processing & Storage;etc.

The Job:

• Identify and evaluate exposures and accept, decline, or modifyrisks within assigned underwriting authority levels.
• Implement underwriting decisions in compliance with statelaws.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitor performance.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of assigned producers.

Recommend and implement action plans for improvement.

• Analyze quality and quantity of risks written.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Environmental or similar Underwriting orUnderwriting Support experience.
