Market, underwriteand service independent agents, brokers, and contract accounts andprovide surety bonds for construction firms, manufacturers andsuppliers, and commercial enterprises for corporations andindividuals. Develop growth and profitability plans, includingcross-selling strategies for all surety lines. Conduct meetingswith agents and contractors to develop and maintain closerelationships. Travel to meet with agents, account executives, andbond principals in assigned territory. Appoint new agencyrelationships that have a core focus on surety development. Workwith agencies to identify opportunities and write new accounts.

Evaluate principals, operationally and financially, for suretycredit. Approve bonds and programs within assigned authority.

Evaluate and interpret bonds, contracts, credit reports, and loanagreements. Recommend underwriting decision on bonds or accountsexceeding authority. Perform analysis and recording activity inunderwriting and administrative tools and systems.
