Construction Surety – Insurance Underwriter – Tallahasse, FL Below covers everything you need to know about what thisopportunity entails, as well as what is expected fromapplicants. Become a direct writer of contract surety credit, working directlywith contractors to underwrite construction contract suretyaccounts such as: Construction Contract Bonds; Bid Bonds;Performance Bonds; Payment Bonds; Maintenance Bonds, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assess credit risk associated with direct requests for creditfrom Construction companies.
• Analyze financial statements and review credit lines.
• Develop and implement sales strategy to build contractorrelationships.
• Support review and modification of underwriting standards andstrategies.

Must have at least two years of Standard Contract Surety or similarUnderwriting experience.
