Job Description
Medical Insurance Underwriter 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Clearwater, FL 33764 We need are recruiting for individuals with experience with Rx insurance to interview and underwrite insurance. This role will be public facing as the candidates will be making critical determinations daily about how to underwrite policies.

Due to open season, no time off will be granted from October to January.
Needed Skills:
Previous health/Medicare/Prescription claims adjudication experience Experience with UB/Institutional and HCFA/Professional Strong familiarity with medical terminology, procedure, and diagnosis codes Can interpret EOB’s. Must have 1 year of experience in medical insurance Medicare Supplement experience is strongly preferred
Duties:
Make decision necessary to properly adjudicate claims and written inquiries Examine, investigate, research medical insurance claims Process claims Analyze claims to determine the extent of insurance carrier liability and interpret contract benefits #IND450
