An opportunity to test your knowledge and have the opportunity to manage a book of business encompassing Marine Hull, MEL, P&I, USL&H, Marine Liability, Cargo/Stock Through-Put and Vessel Pollution The variety is what you find a challenge and due the your knowledge versatility within the marine insurance market, you have often been the ‘go to’ person within your previous businesses for technical advice. You can be based from home / Florida but report into one of this firm’s offices in the Southern Gulf of the US. As an integral part of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to: Enhance relationships with existing clients and key US and London Marine Markets by executing proactive, creative and on-going contact initiatives.
You’ll provide superb planning and consulting advice to clients including the production of requests for proposal, analysis and comparison of RFP responses.
As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll over-see issue-resolution between client and vendor to ensure a smooth process is followed. You can even get involved in some cross-selling/up-selling opportunities if this is an area of interest For your hard work and dedication, you’ll be rewarded with a base salary between $110k – $150k depending upon experience, which comes with comprehensive benefits package including flexible home working. To be considered you’ll hold a number of years’ experience within the ocean marine insurance market, either as a Broker, Vice President or Underwriter. Should you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or related field that would be an added bonus This is a superb opportunity for an individual who would like to join a highly specialist marine team with expertise both in the US but also internationally, with strong links to the Lloyds market.
