Genesis10 is seeking a Commercial Insurance UnderwriterTechnician for a 6-month contract to perm position with our clientin Atlanta, GA. You are required to be on-site one day permonth. Job Description:

Must have experience with either Commercial, Builders Risk/InlandMarine or Construction The Underwriting Technician is responsible for timely and accuratepolicy processing that is consistent with compliance andperformance standards. Under the direction of the OperationsManager, the Underwriter Technician performs submission review,clearance, and service customer requests to ensure the highestcustomer service standards

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate new submissions for completeness;request information as needed and communicate to the Underwritingteam and brokers within the territory (exposure, loss, and generalaccount data) Analyze and process endorsements and file service requests based onassigned authority. Perform file documentation for all submission and policy requests,recording pertinent data, to develop and maintain the department’sdata management system to include rate analysis, quotes, binders,and other key statistics. Maintain all active underwriting filesfor completeness. Input raw exposure data into the client policy management systemand complete catastrophe modeling. Assist with the setup and tracking of assignments/tasks for allaccounts. Develop key relationships with the underwriting team, assignedbrokers, and members of the client organization.

Qualifications:

Strong planning and organization skills; ability tomaintain accurate records. Strong communication skills on multiple platforms. Ability to multi-task paired with strong time managementskills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Must be able to make informed decisions and effectively meetdeadlines. Attention to detail; accurate proofreading skills. Flexibility and tenacity; ability to work in a teamenvironment. We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, anddirect-hire positions with various rate ranges.

Compensation:
