Hartford CT Pay rate: $30/hr – $32/hour Job description Responsibilities include: Review Referred endorsements to determine acceptability and adherence to published guidelines and within the individual’s authority statement Consults with agents to answer questions regarding coverage and endorsement inquiries Ability to route endorsement request or activities to the appropriate staff or department Build relationships internally with both Center & Regional Office Underwriters and Agency partners Provides excellent customer service and operational excellence Ensure consistent delivery of responsive communication with our agency partners Capability to identify Cross-Sell and Up-sell opportunities Source opportunities for our internal partners Is well versed about The Client’s Value Proposition and holds internal and external customers accountable Plan and prioritize work activities to achieve desired results within necessary time frames. Effectively use on-line resources, automation tools, and computer software packages.

Qualifications:

Senior Underwriter Experience:

3 + years of Property and Casualty Carrier underwriting experience is required

Executive Underwriter Experience:

5 + years of P&C Middle Market Broker-facing Carrier Underwriting experience required.
