We are currently seeking a sharp, analytical, and detail-oriented In-House Underwriter to evaluate property deals, run numbers, and support our acquisitions and dispositions team with reliable underwriting and valuation guidance.

Responsibilities:

Analyze prospective real estate deals and determine viability based on ARV, repair estimates, market comps, and exit strategies (cash sale, assignment, or novation). Underwrite single-family homes (and occasional multifamily or land deals) across multiple markets. Review and confirm accurate repair cost estimates with acquisition managers and contractors when needed. Perform CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) using MLS data, PropStream, Zillow or similar platforms. Provide consistent valuation reports within a fast-paced deal flow environment. Collaborate with the acquisitions team to structure offers based on target buyer spreads. Track and update underwriting criteria as markets shift. Maintain underwriting database and comp records for future deal analysis.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in real estate underwriting, wholesaling, investing, or appraisal. Strong understanding of ARV calculations, repair estimates, and ROI modeling. Familiarity with real estate investor tools such as PropStream, Zillow, MLS access, etc. Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking. Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-moving environment.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work with a real estate wholesaling, fix-and-flip, or investment company. Background in underwriting both traditional and creative deal structures (e.g., novation). Strong knowledge of U.S. real estate markets.
